Hello I’m Jenny; Hypnotherapist, Mindfulness practitioner, and EMDR therapist.

I love what I do because every day I have the privilege of helping people change their lives in ways they often thought were unimaginable.

Hypnotherapy can help resolve many problems, from relatively small 'niggles' to bigger blocks & traumas. The power of our subconscious mind is incredible, it constantly drives our thoughts and behaviours even when we don’t realise it. Being able to help people harness that power to improve their lives instead of be limited and held back by it, is a wonderful thing.

As a Hypnotherapist & EMDR therapist I help a diverse range of clients overcome a wide range of challenges, supporting them on their journey as they make the changes they want in their lives.

For 17 long years I lived with anxiety, trauma and depression affecting my everyday life. I used food as a coping mechanism, and as a result I ended up putting on 5 stone in weight.

I tried several different forms of therapy & every diet regime going, and while most of those helped temporarily or in a limited way, it was only through hypnotherapy that I lost not only the surplus weight but finally found a life-changing release from my inner turmoil too.

Hypnosis is simply a state of focused attention. In this relaxed state, your mind is more responsive to suggestion. In a therapeutic setting, the suggestions are designed to be of maximum benefit to help you change unhelpful thought patterns. We will have discussed & agreed on the details these beforehand.

Many people report that  hypnosis feels much like a "vivid and wonderful daydream". While in hypnosis  you are in a deeply relaxed state but still able to hear everything that is being said to you.

Contrary to some inaccurate portrayals in films, books and the media, hypnosis does not involve the therapist taking control of your mind. You remain in control of the process throughout because your subconscious mind will simply reject any suggestion that is inappropriate for you.

Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms & emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences or trauma.

Trauma can be defined as any disturbing memory that is still distressing today.

Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference.

EMDR incorporating hypnosis offers rapid and effective relief from emotional, visual and physical distress from both recent & historic trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD.

EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma.

As well as being highly effective for removing distress from single & multiple traumas, EMDR also shows great success for reducing or removing cravings ie food & alcohol

As a client-centred hypnotherapist my one to one sessions are entirely bespoke & designed specifically for you.

Based on the information you give me during our meetings I tailor each therapy session uniquely to suit you.

I use a combination of therapies: hypnotherapy, (including advanced techniques for resolving inner conflict) CBT, NLP, mindfulness and EMDR.

I will take time to listen to your story, while helping you to feel safe and supported throughout your journey.

During your initial consultation we will talk through your current situation and more importantly your intentions & hopes for the future. 

One to one hypnotherapy sessions are available for: weight loss, anxiety, confidence, stress-relief, sleep problems, self-esteem, lacking motivation, overcoming fears and phobias and much more.

How to Book:

I offer a FREE no obligation 50 minute initial consultation either face to face or via telephone/Zoom

Thereafter 1 hour sessions; £55

Block of 3 sessions; £150

Each therapy session may include a combination of Hypnotherapy, EMDR, NLP & CBT as discussed during the initial consult.

Shorter appointments for children are available on a pro rata basis.
